Kenny

Kenny

Kenny is the lead vocalist for Klassyc Tymes. Kenny has a voice that others try to imitate and is undoubtedly one of the most talented lead vocalist in the business. Kenny’s vocal range is amazing and you will definitely be impressed by the power in his voice. Kenny’s specialty is Motown and hard drivin’ Classic dance tunes that demands the power and versatility that very few singers have accomplished. Kenny has a vast knowledge of Classic Rock & Motown music and chances are he will know any song that you request. Kevin

Kevin

Kevin was influenced by all types of music from an early age. " I have always been involved with music in some form or fashion. Growing up in the 70's and 80's made me appreciate the awesome sounds from great bands like Journey, Kansas, Little River Band,Steppenwolf, CCR, Three Dog Night, etc. I also fell in love with the Motown sound and remember spending countless hours listening to and dissecting the different harmonies and instrumentation on all those great songs. I grew up with and still have a great love of Gospel music and that's where I learned how to sing and hear harmonies." Billy

Billy

Billy is one of the most versatile guitarists in the business. His ability to know when to play and when to just lay back in the groove is very hard match. His timing and style are always right in the pocket! Billy has been traveling and playing guitar most of his life, he lives and breath’s Classis Rock and Roll. It is amazing how he stands on stage with that constant smile and effortlessly puts out some of the most awesome guitar licks you will ever here. Billy says “I have been looking for a band like Klassyc Tymes Band for many years. I’m proud to be a part of a group of musicians and vocalist that strive for perfection”. Phil

Phil

Phil grew up in a family of musicians and has been in the business most of his life. Phil began playing bass guitar at an early age and has mastered several types of music including rock, country, jazz, and gospel. Phil was a regular at the famous Renfro Valley Show for 10 years before joining a Country band in Lexington. He has shared the stage with such greats as Vince Gill, Restless Heart, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Paycheck and George Jones. Phil brings a lot of versatility to Klassyc Tymes and is a fantastic vocalist. 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock is his specialty and you will fall in love with his great personality and energy on stage. Dwight

Dwight

Ricky

Ricky

When you look up the word talented in the dictionary you will find a picture of Ricky . He has played virtually every instrument with Klassyc Tymes Band ,but his first love is drums. Ricky studied music at Eastern Kentucky University and provides the perfect foundation for all of KTB's music. Ricks ability to drive the music is unlike any you have heard before. His energy and stage presence always has the audience on their feet. And, that is him you hear singing on "Stand By Me". See what we mean? John

John

Considering himself a "modern" saxophonist, John has developed his own approach to playing. John has studied other American styles and instruments. John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Cannonball Adderley, Stan Getz, Johhny Hodges, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dickie Betts, Bob Marley, Robert Johnson, and Lenny Pickett are a few of his mentors. These influences have given John the opportunity to establish himself as one of the regions most versatile players. John has a music degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Saxophone from the University Of Kentucky.


Gerald

Gerald

Gerald is the newest member of KTB. He was influenced by music at an early age. From the first time he sang in church at the age of three, he knew music would always be a part of his life. He joined his first talent agency at 13 and has played regularly ever since. After completing high school, Gerald spent most of the 80’s on the road playing lounges and rock clubs all over the United States. His extensive road work has enabled him to adapt to and play virtually any style of music. His time on the road has also given him the opportunity to meet and share the stage with some of the people who has influenced him the most over the years like Tower of Power, Johnny Paycheck, Keith Urban, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Pam Tillis, Wynona Judd, J.P. Pennington, Bryan White, Russ Kunkel, Matt Rollings, Les Taylor, T. Graham Brown & Lonnie Mack just to name a few. The Sound and Light Crew

Marty and Mark have the biggest job of all. It’s their job to try and make KTB sound good! Now if they could only make us look good too, but Marty says he can’t work miracles. Marty and Mark are the best you could ask for at the controls and their hard work is greatly appreciated. Marty was the original drummer for KTB but always had a love for just running sound. His son, Mark, recently graduated from MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN with a degree in Sound Engineering. Two terrific guys and we are proud to have them on our team!
