Kenny Owens

Kenny Owens

Kenny Owens is the lead vocalist for Klassyc Tymes. Kenny has a voice that others try to imitate and is undoubtedly one of the most talented lead vocalist in the business. Kenny’s vocal range is amazing and you will definitely be impressed by the power in his voice. Kenny’s specialty is Motown and hard drivin’ Classic dance tunes that demands the power and versatility that very few singers have accomplished. Kenny has a vast knowledge of Classic Rock & Motown music and chances are he will know any song that you request. Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart

Kevin’s musical roots are imbedded deep within Gospel Music and this is very evident when you hear his soulful voice. Kevin has a great ear for harmony and his vocal range is "Out Of This World". Klassyc Tymes fans from all over always request Kevin’s version of Unchained Melody or Just My Imagination. His big smile is contagious and the energy that he produces on stage always spills out onto the dance floor. Kevin enjoys and appreciates all genres of music especially Jazz, Classical, Gospel, Carolina Shag Music and of course, Classic Rock, R&B and Motown. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys traveling, boating on Lake Cumberland, as well as working outdoors on the family Black Angus Cattle Farm in Southern, Kentucky. Dave Smith

Dave Smith

David is the lead guitarist for Klassyc Tymes Band and is one of the most versatile players in the business. He also possesses a vast collection of fine guitars and enjoys playing all of them! David has been performing since his high school days and has a solid background in Rock, Gospel and Bluegrass. David also enjoys spending time with his 1966 Mustang Fastback and can be seen cruisin’ Southern, Kentucky on warm summer days. You can contact David at david@klassyctymes.com


Phil Malicote

Phil Malicote

Phil grew up in a family of musicians and has been in the business most of his life. Phil began playing bass guitar at an early age and has mastered several types of music including rock, country, jazz, and gospel. Phil was a regular at the famous Renfro Valley Show for 10 years before joining a Country band in Lexington. He has shared the stage with such greats as Vince Gill, Restless Heart, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Paycheck and George Jones. Phil brings a lot of versatility to Klassyc Tymes and is a fantastic vocalist. 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock is his specialty and you will fall in love with his great personality and energy on stage. Richard Earl

Richard Earl

Duke has played professionally for over 20 years. When it comes to Classic Rock Drummers, Duke would have to be at the top of the list. His style and great sense of timing lays the perfect foundation all Klassyc Tymes’ tunes. He really drives the beat and we are sure you will enjoy his talent and great personality. Duke is originally from Rochester New York but now calls Somerset, Kentucky home . He owns 5 different sets of drums so it’s easy to see where his priorities are. Duke is a legendary “Rocker”.


John Richardson

John Richardson

Considering himself a "modern" saxophonist, John has developed his own approach to playing. John has studied other American styles and instruments. John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, Cannonball Adderley, Stan Getz, Johhny Hodges, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dickie Betts, Bob Marley, Robert Johnson, and Lenny Pickett are a few of his mentors. These influences have given John the opportunity to establish himself as one of the regions most versatile players. John has a music degree from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Saxophone from the University Of Kentucky.


Maurice Daulton

Maurice Daulton

Maurice is no stranger to the music scene with over 30 years of experience. Mo Baby, as we call him, is an accomplished musician and vocalist. Mo knows all the secrets to the trade and loves to have fun with the crowd as he sings and plays. He is great on the Jerry Lee tunes and loves to sing the hits of the Beetles and many other Classic 60’s and 70’s tunes. Mo knows all about the 60’s serving our country very well in Vietnam as a Marine. Mo later traveled throughout Kentucky recruiting for the National Guard until his retirement in the mid 90’s. He lives in Somerset, Kentucky and also enjoys spending time at his condo in Florida. Maurice Daulton is a key ingredient to Klassyc Tymes success!


Marty Fairchild

Marty Fairchild

Marty is our sound technician. He has a great electronic mind and can handle just about any surprises that we throw at him! Marty is one of the finest people you will ever meet and we know you will fall in love with his humble, quiet personality and that little grin he always has on his face. Marty is very involved with his church in Monticello, Kentucky and is a good musician as well. Marty is the original drummer for Klassyc Tymes and can play guitar as well as being a great singer. Some guys get all the talent! Marty’s son, Mark, also helps with sound and lights on occasion. And wouldn’t you know it, he is a sound engineering major at MTSU in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We are pretty sure he will want a pay raise when he graduates. Marty and Mark are great assets to Klassyc Tymes Band!
